Mix Tape: Crust Punk and Bleach Baths

 

As a request from Up The Pucks guest host for the Philadephia Flyers, .  He wanted to see a crust punk list.  And for those of you who don't know, I general dislike crust punk.  I have to say, crust punks gross me out and I'd put them on my list of nightmare inducing creatures.  So here's a mix tape of crust punk songs, I need to go bathe in bleach with a brillo pad.

It's An Album Review: I don't want to go to heaven with a headache

Ok, so I've been sidelined with a health problem and then a bad reaction to the medication that I was taking. It was nasty and I really wanted to write a review for the new Menzingers album. So, I made it happen. I'm trying out something new this time since there are no music videos from On The Impossible Past I've got a little soundcloud box with three different tracks from the album. I don't know if I'll do this consistently, or if its a sometimes thing, but I'm sure you'll deal with it one way or another. Life is often all about coping. But now, on to the review of the Menzingers' On The Impossible Past.

So Less Than Jake started a tour & quietly dropped a new EP today

In concert with Less Than Jake starting a short tour of the northeast U.S., the band released a five-song ep on their own Sleep It Off Records. You can get the new ep, Season's Greetings from Less Than Jake  here. You can hear a song from it, 'Younger Lungs', over at AbsolutePunk.net. This record serves as a companion to last year's Greetings from Less Than Jake ep.
