UTP Album Review: Jr. Juggernaut - Wake
Jr. Juggernaut have a knack for taking a dark subject, and writing a song about it that will get caught firmly in your head.

In his last review, Link said I'd have this thing up weeks ago. I maybe lied. Or I got writer's block. Or I'm lazy. Choose.
Back in 2010, Japandroids had just released their debut LP, Post-Nothing, and while on the road, had promised us a series of five singles, all accompanied by a b-side cover. They delivered their first three on time, and then, nothing. 2011 passed in full, and nothing. Earlier this year, rumors of a new album (Celebration Rock, out next early next month) surfaced, and finally a new single appeared, "The House That Heaven Built".
Today marks the drop of the new Pennywise album, "All Or Nothing", their first studio album since 2008 and the first album with new lead singer Zoltán Téglás. For those of you who don't know, I'm not exactly the biggest fan of "brocore", actually I down right detest it, I wanted to give this album a listen. New singer leads to new sound, maybe? You can stream the album on The Dying Scene and head out to purchase it wherever you get your records.
Here you will read my first impressions as I listen to the tracks one by one for the first (and probably only time):
Here we are in the midst of another Monday and I have another round of reviews for you. I've got two today, because after finishing the write up for the new Sidekicks album I felt compelled to do a second album. In addition to the previously scheduled look at Awkward Breeds you also get a quick glance at the equally quick Rock You to Sleep from the hockey mad Hextalls. Also get excited, later in this week I should be writing my first non-review for Up The Pucks alongside the brilliant Brandon Gee. There, that gives you something to look forward too. On to the reviews with you then.
